Arturia tells us they have refined the original MiniLab into something new and exciting. Sounds promising? Of course it should. The original Minilab is a very capable and affordable MIDI controller. MK II has seen improvements in every component. It's still a portable, lightweight, and small. And now it comes bundled with Analog Lite, Ableton Live Lite, and UVI Grand Piano Model B.
So, we've now got another excellent value MIDI keyboard controller under the $100 / €100 euro price point with excellent bundled software and solid features. There's really not much else you need to get started making music!
Features at a glance:
- 25 note velocity-sensitive slim keyboard
- 8 RGB backlit performance pads
- 16 rotary encoders
- Dedicated octave up and down buttons
- 2 ultra-responsive pitch and mod wheel touch-strips
