With over 25 years in the recording business, Jim Pavett is a pool of knowledge on sound recording and engineering. As a professional drummer and college-educated, certified electrical engineer, he possesses a unique combination of experience and an intimate understanding of the creative and technical aspects of music, technology and the physics of audio. Jim is the owner and operator of Allusion Studios, a commercial recording facility in Tucson, Arizona as well a Pure Wave Audio, a boutique Pro Audio store.
