Yamaha Reface Synths Images & Details Leaked

Both Gearjunkies and CreateDigital Music came across some pics and more “accidentally” posted on a Korean website. CDM were tipped off by synthjam who has posted the full pics on his instagram page.

Although the original Korean website page has been pulled thanks to Instagram we've got some details for you here, courtesy of Gearjunkies:

• Reface CS – Analogue synth emulation – could be a CS80 clone.
  
• Reface DX – FM digital synth emulation – could be a DX7 clone.
  
• Reface CP – Piano keyboard emulation – could be a CP70 clone.
  
• Reface YC – Organ keyboard emulation – could be a YC20 clone.

They go on to say, “Each Reface has 37 mini keys, runs on batteries and has an internal speaker system with a “Phrase Loop” sequence recorder. It also appears that there's no pitch or modulation wheels, though there could be a way to control this from the front panel, it's just not known at this time. 

We've also heard each synth will have MIDI in/out, USB and audio inputs and outputs. Interesting that Yamaha appear to be opening up a whole line of 4 new Reface synths, when we initially thought these would be four engines in one synth.

Either way, we'll have more (official) info tomorrow once Reface is officially unveiled at Summer NAMM 2015.
