Yamaha Montage Synthesizer Sound Demo - NAMM 2016

Yamaha tell us the new Montage synthesizer is the next level of synthesizer. It includes motion control synthesis and has two engines: sample playback and FM X (an enhanced version of FM synthesis). Yamaha were concerned about giving musicians control. Instead of having 8 waveforms you can have up to 64 which means you can do some complex sound morphing, etc.

In this 10-minute video, Phil not only explains what makes the Montage special, but provides plenty of sound demos showing off its capabilities.

We'll have a review of the Montage as soon as we receive a unit! Montage should be available in May 2016.
