This present "News" article is nothing more than an advert.
Please have some editorial honesty and decency here and add a "Sponsored" tag to it.
Thanks.

Hello entropyk,

Our news articles are split into two main categories... those that are essentially press releases (like this one) and other more left-field stories which are more editorial.

We're happy to re-publish press releases as news items and our many readers find that useful. These are not sponsored. Instead we publish the press releases which we feel are of most interest to ourselves and our audience.

You'll also find we publish "reviews" frequently which are written after extensive hands-on experience by our professional and experienced authors.

Please think and do even a couple of minute's of research before questioning someone's "editorial honesty and decency".

Fair enough. I do apologise for the "sponsored" bit and consequently questioning your integrity. This was not necessary and unfair.
Nevertheless, the tagging of the content is still confusing since it is published under your name.
I do appreciate your reviews and other articles in general, but I do think that such press releases should be highlighted and tagged as such.
I'll stop with the Monday rant now.

No probs enrtopyk,

It's a good point though. I should put some more time into thinking about ways to differentiate News items. Maybe a tag at the bottom for "press release" would be useful... though we won't be able to do this retrospectively for all past news items! 8-/

I had thought about splitting news into "hardware" and "software", but I don't want to give the impression that press releases are the same as editorial news items either...

btw, we'll have a review of Liquid Music coming in a week or so. Stay tuned and thanks of the feedback!
