Wave Alchemy Spectrum Is a Hybrid Waveform Instrument Based on 14 Iconic Vintage Synths

14 of the most wanted analog and digital hardware synthesisers have been expertly sampled and combined to create the upcoming Kontakt instrument from Wave Alchemy. Spectrum is on our most wanted list.

Maybe it was the lateness of the hour, the emotive chord progressions, the sheer beauty of the sound, or perhaps all three... but the audio demo for Wave Alchemy's upcoming Spectrum got the hairs on the back of my neck tingling.

My only disappointment with Wave Alchemy’s new instrument, Spectrum, is we’ll have to wait until the end of the month to download it.

Wave Alchemy Spectrum will be available from 30 June, 2016.

Wave Alchemy Spectrum will be available from 30 June, 2016.

Here’s what Wave Alchemy tell us about their wonderful upcoming Kontakt instrument... and do give yourself a listen to their demo track below too:

14 iconic vintage synthesizers, 10,000 samples and 175 unique patches; each expertly programmed and creatively combined into a single unified, incredibly powerful virtual instrument - our most versatile to date!

Over 18 months in development, our goal with Spectrum was to bring together under one roof the iconic sounds of the most sought-after analogue and digital synths in existence, with the ability to layer, blend and creatively transform patches, tones and timbres into fresh, organic, evolving sounds.

Spectrum will be released on June 30th, watch this space...

It’s cruel, but we’ll have to wait until June 30th to get hold of Spectrum. Stay tuned to Wave Alchemy & AskAudio…
