Watch: The First Drum Machine That Plays Real Drum Kit

What do you get when you cross a drum machine, robotic mechanical balls, and an acoustic drum kit? Polyend's Perc is just that and can play the drums that'll make your human drummer jealous.

We first saw the Polyend Drum machine that plays a real drum kit over MIDI at Superbooth 2016 in Berlin last week and were somewhat amazed. At Musikmesse we were thrilled to fine Piotr, the founder of Polyend with his mechanical MIDI creation called Perc

Piotr explains what Perc is, how it works and what inspired him to create it. He then goes on to demo it using a Push and Ableton Live to creation amazing drum patterns via MIDI. It's kind of enthralling to watch.
