Watch Steve H Immersive Buchla Music Easel & Logic Pro Set From Berlin

What happens in Berlin doesn't need to stay in Berlin. In his second concert at the awesome synth event at Superbooth, Steve H explores soundscapes on his Buchla Music Easel being processed in Logic.

Prepare yourself for an unusual, unsettling, yet relaxing sonic journey. One that could take you through a lot of different emotional states. And all recorded live from Steve H's performance at Superbooth.

Steve H, as well as being an incredible composer, producer and performer is also the publisher at macProVideo and AskAudio. So, it's no surprise to find a healthy, growing library of synth, eurorack, and Buchla video courses here.

Steve H performs his Buchla Easel Immersion concert at Superbooth 2017 Seaside Stage.

It was a very cold, rainy day in Berlin when Steve H, AKA Steve Horelick, performed another one of his Buchla Easel 3D Sound Immersion series concerts. The Seaside stage, floating in a small lake, facing amphitheater style seating, provided a beautiful backdrop to the canvas of sound.

The sound is entirely created on the Buchla Easel. The "canvas" is created primarily in Logic using foot controlled sends to route the Easel to different FX aux channels. Logic's Environment is where MIDI modulators are rerouted to control surround panning. This recording is captured live from stereo mics... not through the console.
