Regular readers will know that we're fans of hardware developers Polyend, and in particular their hardware sequencer, "Seq". In December it received a bunch of software updates, which you can read about here.
Now, the company has released a video in which they visit electronic music producer Łukasz Seliga, also known as SLG, to find out how he uses Seq as the heart of his sequencing and MIDI control setup. You can check out the video below.
Among the many things Łukasz anjoys about Seq are its immediacy - you can just start making music right away, its polyrhythmic capability, randomize features and the fact that it feels just like a real instrument. See him tweak and program in realtime using Seq and a selection of hardware synths, a Roland Space Echo and more!
