Watch Dusty Kid Testing Out This Modular MIDI Controller

Electronic musician and producer Dusty Kid gets hands on with the Specialwaves Mine and Mine S, tests it out in Ableton Live and shares its potential in this video.  

For anyone that (still) doesn't know about the Specialwaves Mine and Mine S... this is a MIDI controller with a difference. It's modular, in that you can swap and change the layout of the controls and types of controls to create the MIDI controller you really want. It's intelligent, in that once mapped each module (fader, pot, encoder, etc) remembers its function even when removed from the unit.

As you'd expect, Dusty Kid is especially impressed with the fact this controller adapts to your workflow and not the other way around. He also points out the benefit of using it for a DJ set and in the morning setting it up differently for producing in the studio.
