This Video Explores The Influence of Moog & Buchla at Machines in Music 2016

Here's an interesting mini-documentary exploring the influence of Moog and Buchla on the current crop of modular synth makers and artists filmed at Machines in Music 2016, New York.

The Machines in Music event has become a regular on the calendar for synth and audio hardware enthusiasts and professionals. Imagine some of your favorite modular and Eurorack synth makers all in one room in New York. You can play machines, experiment with sounds and talk (or attempt to above the noise).

Since the recent passing of Don Buchla, the synthesizer world no longer has two of its most influential pioneers in Bob Moog and Don Buchla. Steve, a longtime Buchla synth and controller owner and player, spoke to a number of companies and artists at Machines in Music to find out how Moog and Buchla has influenced their lives, modules and direction.
