The Special Waves Modular MIDI Controller, MineS, Reveals New Features

MineS is a completely customizable hardware controller ideal for DJs, VJs, Producers, Lighting Technicians, Musicians, Video/Photo Editors, and more. Here's a run through of newly added features.

MineS is a very interesting, modular, MIDI controller. It features MIDI In and Out and MIDI over USB and a whole host of innovative features. Max and Riccardo from Special Waves walk us through the latest new features of this soon to be released MIDI controller at Soundmit 2019.

One of the most impressive new features, aside from the USB cable you could literally swing the unit from without fear of it detaching, is the ability for any on computer screen control where the mouse cursor is over can map directly to a selected control on the MineS hardware controller... without any user-defined mapping as such.

There are currently six types of modules: pot, pad, 2 button, encoder, slider, and a blank module.

  • Pick and choose which modules you need, how many, and how you want them to be configured for the perfect layout.
  • Designed in Italy
  • Self-recognition of modules (Type, orientation and position)
  • Protocols available: MIDI, HID, OSC, DMX, Art-Net
  • 6 types of modules

This customizable MIDI controller is perhaps one of the most versatile controllers available for musicians, producers, DJs and visual artists. You can buy it on-demand via IndieGoGo from a starting price of just £224 GBP.
