Swarm Intelligence Shares Ableton Push 2 Live Performance Tricks

Swarm Intelligence is Simon Hayes, a DJ and producer based in Berlin. Ableton interviewed him about his personal Push 2 workflows and tips for live performance. Well worth a watch!  

Simon Hayes aka Swarm Intelligence was interviewed by Ableton recently and in the resulting video he gives an insight into his personal workflows when setting up and performing live using Ableton Push 2.

There are some really useful techniques and strategies for performing in this video, with an emphasis on Simon being able to instantly react to the crowd vibe and switch his sounds between different moods or intensities.

I particularly love the “techno button” that Simon uses which is simply a toggle switch that sends one of two MIDI sequences to the same Drum Rack.
