Superbooth 2017: Eowave Quandrantid Swarm Synth Overview

Marc from eowave gives the cool prototype synth, the Quandrantid Swarm, an equally cool demo at Superbooth 2017 in The Fez in Berlin.

This cute and nifty  little synthesizer from eowave got its first peek of the world at Superbooth 2017. A good place to be introduced! We caught up with Marc from eowave you gave us an indepth run-through of the Quandrantid Swarm prototype.

The Quandrantid Swarm is a versatile, unique instrument for sound designers and musicians looking to explore exquisite and unfamiliar timbres that range from subtle to outrageous, nebulous to shimmering. It is comprised of a digital synthesizer voice with a percussive element, 2 pole analog filter, 8 waveforms for modulation, and a spring reverb. The 8 touch keys can be used as a mono keyboard, polyphonic keyboard or an 8 step sequencer. The QS interfaces with other instruments via MIDI, and CV/Trig inputs.

The first prototype will be released at Superbooth 17, official release date to be announced. RRP is currently 499€ (subject to change on release).
