Softube Console 1 Now Fully Compatible With Ableton Live & Push

The Softube Console 1 ecosystem of convenient and capable mixers and controllers just got the go ahead to play nice with Ableton Live 10 and it integrates with and compliments Ableton Push too.

Linköping, Sweden, April 3rd, 2020: Tactile control of your most important DAW parameters inspires your production and performance to be even more musical. Full compatibility between Ableton Live and Softube's Console 1 ecosystem is now available, allowing Live users to take advantage of all the hands-on capabilities that both Console 1 and Console 1 Fader offer in the studio or on the stage.

Control of volume, pan, solo, and mute in Live is just the start. Sending to return tracks for reverb, adding drive to distort a loop, filtering sounds while launching scenes, and grouping tracks with layer mode takes your creative potential to a new level.

Those using Ableton Push to create or perform will love the addition of faders to their workflow for the first time. Flexibility is key – it is your music, so you decide what setup is best for you. Console 1 and Console 1 Fader can work on their own in Ableton Live or be used together. And those mixing larger sets can even add more than one Console 1 Fader for an additional 10 faders.

The full compatibility features are available for Ableton Live 10.1.9 (VST3). To help Ableton Live users get started, Softube created, in collaboration with Ableton, a series of educational videos showing how to incorporate Console 1 Fader into their workflow.

The videos can be watched on Softube's website:

Console 1 & Console 1 Fader

The Console 1 ecosystem is an elegant and modern mixing solution, combining hardware and software to give engineers and producers the best of both worlds: the versatility, affordability, and usability of in-the-box mixing, alongside the workflow, feel, and focus dedicated hardware can bring.

Console 1, the original hardware unit, can be used alone, or in combination with Console 1 Fader for a tight complete mixing console experience. Users can even use multiple Console 1 Fader units to build the ideal workflow.

With no need for MIDI mapping or assigning, Console 1 works straight out of the box with all major DAWsAbleton Live,PreSonus Studio One, Steinberg Cubase, Cakewalk by BandLab/SONAR, Cockos Reaper, Logic Pro X, Pro Tools, and more – any host that can run a VST, AU, or AAX plug-in can work with Console 1. Some hosts offer deeper compatibility, allowing control of the DAW itself from Console 1's hardware. Live is the latest addition to this group, joining Studio One, Cubase, Cakewalk by BandLab/SONAR, and Reaper, with more DAWs being added regularly.
