It took over a year, but is the wait for Overbridge for Digitakt worth it? Dave Mech demonstrates what's going on inside Overbridge 2.0 BETA version out with a twist of humor to boot.
Although three months in Elektron haven't yet made the plugin version of Overbridge 2.0 available for beta testing which would bring automation in your DAW to the table. But it's coming.
Here's what Dave says:
"Elektron is going to deliver, that much is clear to me. This third phase of the beta shows us the interface of OB 2, and I love it! Imagine if we can automate all these parameters :) This is the standalone version. A later phase will show us the plugin.
"In this video I showcase how the GUI looks and some of its functions. I had to create this video quickly as I'm very busy with preparations for some upcoming gigs:
Here's the features Digitakt owners will benefit from with Overbridge 2.0:
- Fully integrate Digitakt with DAW environments
- Control Digitakt with a dedicated VST/AU plugin interface
- Use Digitakt as a 2 in/2 out sound card (CoreAudio/ASIO/WDM)
- Stream the eight internal tracks, external inputs, and main bus to separate DAW tracks (24 bit/48 kHz)
- Recall all Digitakt settings when loading a DAW project
- Sample management functionality
