PreSonus Releases ATOM Pad Controller

If you're looking for a portable RGB pad controller for triggering loops in any DAW and/or integrating as an external controller for Studio One then the new ATOM could be the element you need.

With a price tag of just $149 USD, the new ATOM pad controller from PreSonus enters a marketplace flush with offerings from Novation, Native Instruments, Ableton and a number of other brands at an interesting time. There appears to be an appetite for more controllers, and this one from PreSonus integrates fanastically well with PreSonus Studio One 4.1, as you'd expect, and is compatible with most audio software and DAWs.

PreSonus describe Atom as "compact, dynamic performance controller and a tightly integrated production environment" and feel the controller with 16 full-size, velocity- and pressure-sensitive RGB pads and 8 assignable pad banks, is "the most versatile pad controller in its class".
