Vinyl is most definitely enjoying a healthy resurgence in terms of popularity and use in the real-world. Perhaps this won’t be a flash in the pan then! And this is obviously good news for DJs and vinyl record lovers.
But wait, it gets better. Wired reports that Panasonic is bringing back the Technics turntable series. It will have a much more futuristic look thanks in part to the aluminum and the clean cut lines.
"Turntables are a very iconic product for the Technics brand," Michiko Ogawa, director of Technics and executive officer at Panasonic, tells WIRED. "It is important to show our sincere dedication [to that]. The turntable market is very small but it is a very important brand product.”
There’s no further details on when the new turntable will be available or on the cost. But, you an be sure with the way this story has exploded across the web, that we’ll discover this info as soon as it becomes available.
