Elektron's Overbridge 2.0 software opens up a whole new world of compatibility not only between your ELektron hardware units but also between them and your DAW and software instruments. In this short video, Dave Mech gives a hands-on demonstration of using Overbridge in Studio One and Ableton Live (although the techniques are similar in any DAW) to link up the Elektron hardware with soft synths.
There's a demonstration of how to set up Digitakt's hardware controls to assign MIDI targets, as well as linking up the DAW's MIDI preferences and various soft synths including Massive and Mai Tai. You'll see that it's easier than you might have thought to incorporate Elektron hardware into your DAW setup for MIDI control using Overbridge.
