Just a few short days ago we published this warning/report about Maschine 2.4.5 being pulled by Native Instruments due to some "serious issues". You can read more here.
Well, the good news is it didn't take the Maschine team long to turn things around and get a big fix ready and deployed within about 24 hours. I can only assume our friends at NI worked round the clock tirelessly doing their best to make this right... But, I hear you ask, is 2.4.6 any better than 2.4.5? Are the big 3rd party plugin and crashing issues sorted and now a thing of the past, or have they been brushed under the carpet?
Happily, from my experience and that of other Maschine users these bugs have indeed been squashed. Kudos to NI for the super quick turn around. It's refreshing to see a company admitting when something isn't working right and doing their best to make it right again
In short, 3rd party plug-ins (like FabFilter, etc) that weren't loading correctly or at all in projects opened in 2.4.5 are now working as expected. Maschine is no longer crashing and the general consensus on the NI forums is one of respect that NI got a fix out so quickly.
If you haven't already, you can download the Maschine 2.4.6 update via Service center.
