NAMM 2020: 10 New Music Gear Highlights

Take a tour of the 10 of our favourite pieces of new music production and DJ gear from NAMM 2020.

Every year towards the end of January the largest, and still most influential, show for the music industry takes place in Anaheim, California. Set againnst the backdrop of Disney land on one side and the dazzling lights, bright stars above and below the iconic Hollywood hills to the other, NAMM attracts music makers, instrument makers, influencers, music icons and the media from all across the globe.

NAMM is still the place where the most new gear from guitars to MIDI controllers, synthesizers to audio interfaces and much more is announced.

Of late, due perhaps to the rise of smaller niche shows like Superbooth, the NAMM influence seemed to be waning, but whether that was the case or the jaded perception of a music industry editor, NAMM 2020 saw a slew of exciting new music gear and products come to the fore. Here's 10 of our favorite announcements / first-looks from NAMM (in no particular order)... and we're including those from Behringer who made their announcements remotely, away from the maddeness of the show.
