Musistic Makes Recording Remotely from Inside your DAW a Real Possibility

Interested collaborating with our musicians and artists remotely over the net? Musistic is said to offer you the chance to record with anyone, anywhere, on any DAW. And there's a free 30 day trial.

MEMPHIS, Tenn., Summer 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- For almost 100 years, Memphis has been making an indelible mark on the world with its music. That legacy continues today, only this time it's not with music but music technology. Musistic, the Memphis-based start-up, has recently launched its first product: A networking plug-in that allows for open, asynchronous collaboration between musicians recording anywhere in the world on virtually any digital recording platform.

Prior to Musistic, musicians had to rely on old ways of transferring files to and from one another, which were either expensive, time consuming or both. Musistic solved this problem seamlessly with the development of their user-friendly plug-in, greatly reducing downtime and eliminating the hard costs of shipping and travel.

"The Musistic plugin allows you to collaborate with anyone on almost any DAW platform.  Gone are the days of importing files or lining up stems.  Our plugin allows you to be you. Now you can record as easily with someone in Paris, France as Paris, TN.   The plugin is available in all major formats including VST, AU, AAX, and RTAS for Mac OS and Windows," says Jim Lattimore, CEO of Musistic.

Musistic is comprised of three founding members, Vince Rogers, Justin Olita, and Brian Wentzloff. The company's founding members brought Jim Lattimore in as CEO in late 2013.

Musistic officially soft launched their plug-in this Spring and have just recently rolled out a series of product improvements and account management updates. Musistic is currently offering a 60-day free trial.

Pricing starts with a basic plan of $10 a month and includes 20 gigs of storage and goes to $200 for the studio edition, which is unlimited storage and unlimited session invites.
