For anyone who follows Apple closely, it may come as no surprise that Logic 9.1.6 has finally been released on the App Store as a download-only product. The boxed version has been discontinued and the price has been slashed by 60%. Yes, Logic's price has taken a nosedive, although its content and feature set hasn't!
And, before you ask how long it takes to download 40GB of content: Apple has thought this through! The initial download for Logic Pro 9.1.6 is 413 MB. (Mainstage 2 is available separately, by the way). Inside Logic 9.1.6 you can now choose which Jam Packs and extra (or essential) content you wish to download. Even for those with slower internet connections this will be quicker than the trip to your local Apple Store and back again!
So, back to the price: Logic 9 is now 60% cheaper ($499 to $199!) Mainstage 2 is available at just $29.99.
We here at macProVideo.com have also changed the price of our Logic tutorials to match the price reduction set by Apple: we've dropped the price on ALL our HD Download Logic & Mainstage tutorial-videos to $19.50. That's a 60% reduction ($49.50 to $19.50)!!

Discussion
I've been itching to do another Logic tut! Any suggestions?
This is just one reason why MPV is a model for all businesses out there. High quality products and excellent customer service are clearly high priorities for all at MPV. Many thanks, guys, as always!
And yes, Steve, any tutorials you would do would be very much welcome by me. Can't wait! (Just keep Igor caged up while you're doing them). I'll write back here if I think of any suggestions.
All the best,
Adam
As a happy amateur, I find making space and room in a mix very difficult. Say you have a very tight 3 voice backing vocal I find it very difficult to make it bright an crisp. But at the same time not being a thin 3 voice backing vocal.
I have aleays been impressed when a 40+ track mix sounds easy and light with lots of room for instruments and vocals. I find my mix often to be to cramped and at times messy even though timing between everything is tight
I would definitely recommend looking through the tutorials on MacProVideo.
MacProVideo gave me endless Logic and Mixing tips and tricks.
Definitely have a look at Steve H's tutorials for his excellent Logic tips and tricks:
