Korg Announces Colorful, Limited-Edition nanoSERIES MIDI Controllers

We can hardly believe the ultra-portable and slim nano controllers from Korg were first released in 2008. Ten years on and Korg have announced two new color models for the Nano Key, Kontrol and Pad.

Melville, NY – September 10th, 2018 – Ten years ago KORG released their popular, slim-line nanoSERIES controllers consisting of: The Nano Key, the Nano Kontrol and the Nano Pad. To commemorate a decade of these legacy MIDI controllers, coveted for their cutting-edge design and technology, KORG has announced two vibrant color models that align perfectly with any DAW-based or hardware-centric studio.

The blue and yellow nanos pair with KORG Gadget; KORG’s acclaimed DAW software for iOS and MAC, which has become a prime tool for music producers and songwriters everywhere. The orange and green models pay homage to multiple popular DAW environments. The limited edition nanoSERIES truly lets users complement their software with their hardware.

“DAW and compact controllers’ integration has really come a long way,” says James Sajeva, Director of Music Technology Brands at Korg USA, Inc. “This limited series offers a very unique, eye-catching way for users to ‘coordinate their control’ with their software, or simply make a statement in-studio or onstage,” Sajeva continues.

Each purchase comes with downloadable codes for the KORG software bundle, a comprehensive suite of music production tools, along with a 20% discount coupon for KORG’s Gadget for OSX.

This is seriously the ugliest product lineup I've ever seen. Why don't they just make something new?
