Both devices create visuals that react to the Audio they're fed, creating a trippy psychedelic set of visuals to enhance your live performance....

Drop one on an audio track within Ableton Live and it'll do it's own thing generating visuals, control it with Clip Envelopes or via MIDI to play along, even better leave it on a return track a choose what audio to send it to have it dance around to your vocal or kick drum! 

Each device comes in two varieties with Spout and Syphon compatibility so dependant on your OS (Windows or Mac) you can output the visuals to your favourite VJ Software such as Resolume...
