Isotonik PrEditor 1.3.3 Brings More Features to Ableton Hardware Controllers & Kontakt & Reaktor

Supporting a dizzying array of hardware controllers like Push 2, LaunchControl XL, Behringer BCR to Akai MIDIMix, Isotonik's PrEditor now supports multi mapped NI Kontakt & Reaktor instruments.

Sigabort AKA Lee has been working flat out on this update ever since the Push TWO compatible 1.3.2 dropped. It certainly seemed to be the release that acheived critical mass for us and flooded our mailbox with additional feature requests now that users could unlock that beautiful screen....

With Version 1.3.3 we've focused on the most popular requests which make the supported controllers even more useful:

  • MaxforLive Devices have all their parameters exposed for mapping, plus you can organise them into named banks (You'll know this is as yet impossible for a M4L Device to do)
  • Banks of 8, 24 or 32 (controller dependant) parameters can be re-ordered, re-named and copied, pasted or deleted
  • Support for MultiMapped VST & AU devices like Native Instruments Kontakt and Reaktor. Each Ensemble or Instrument can have its own individual mapping!

PrEditor when used with one of our Custom Remote Scripts for the Novation LaunchControl XL, Behringer BCR, BCF, AKAI MIDIMIX or the included versions for the Ableton Push and AKAI APC40 MKI & MKII allows the user to configure how each controller maps to any parameter via Ableton Lives BlueHand Automap feature including the Push Exclusive parameters!!
