Is It A Looper? Is It A DAW? It's Both. Say Hello To ZenAudio's ALK

ALK from ZenAud.io wants to be the missing piece of the puzzle that is the ideal live performance looper / sequencer / DAW. There's some deep yet intuitive features, and you can try it out for free.

After three years of hard work, ZenAud.io is happy to finally launch zenAud.io ALK and they want to give you the possibility to try out the world’s first looper/DAW.

ALK combines the immediacy of traditional loopers with the power of software sequencers. It also uses the arrangement to control the operation of track-based live loopers. The ultimate goal is to free the performer of all unnecessary distractions, all while allowing rhythmically tight and harmonically rich arrangements.

...Take my money!!!!
This is pure genius! To more cumbersome workflow, no more need for extra screens - I'm always dying a little trying to see all my plug-ins AND timeline on my 13" screen -, super quick functions, super intuitive workflow, can be used as a performance tool for looping... certainly won't replace Logic Pro as a recording and editing tool, but to apply and manage plug-ins and perform, I definitely look forward to it. Probably the closest competitor to Reaper feature and price-wise. I think it deserves the fantastic niche of bedroom producers/performers who just like me are always on their laptops, because most pro DAWs are simply meant to be used in conjunctions with multiple monitors and a pro studio environment if you want ultimate workflow. This is pure genius. Simplicity wins!
