Ik Multimedia Announce Upcoming Micro Monitors and More at Messe 2016

A mastering app for desktop and iPad, an iPhone portable holder and mount, an orchestral plug-in that combines synthesis with samples, and more were on show at IK Multimedia's booth at Musikmesse.

It came as no surprise when we reached the IK Multimedia booth at Musikmesse 2016 there would be some new audio gear surprises to take a look at.

And Paul Kauffman from IK didn't disappoint. In the video below you can find out more about some of the smallest (yet most powerful) monitors we've come across. It's next to impossible to get a sense of monitors in a trade show setting, so we'll wait to pass our judgement until we get a review unit.

Also in the video Paul showcases the Lurssen mastering app for desktop and iPad which we've reviewed here. And the newly released Miroslav Philharmonik 2 CE, plus a rather nifty smrt phone/DSLR holder and mount which can accomodate and power an XLR microphone and do so much more than its simple design implies.

I'm really interested in seeing a review of those monitors. I'm always trying to shrink down the gear on my production desk.
