Reaktor is Native Instruments' synth / effect / instrument building environment and it's incredibly powerful. You can use it to create everything from simple tools to advanced software. Its building blocks are called Ensembles, but how much do you really know about what they are, or how they work? In this short video, NI expert Matt Cellitti reveals everything you need to know.
Komplete 101: Komplete's Synths Explored
Matt starts by explaining how Ensembles are built on a modular analogy, in line with the way Reaktor is designed. Walking you through several of the Ensembles included with Reaktor in the Komplete bundle, he explains how almost anything is possible when you get down to the basics of how instruments and effects are put together. You can make practically any kind of processor or generator you can imagine - with the right skills of course! You'll experience some of NI's own Ensembles like Rounds, as well as other weird and wonderful third party models. Be sure to check out the full course for a complete guide to Komplete's powerful synths!
