Help Make These Lego MiniMoog Synths A Reality

OK. Before you get too excited, these ideas for a Moog Model D and Moog Voyager made from Lego are tiny and won't make sound if you could use a toothpick to press their keys. But they're super cool!

Featured in Lego Ideas–a place where with enough support and then final approval from Lego, your ideas can become a Lego product– these diminutive Minimoogs look awesome.  And due to the nature of crowd-sourcing, YOU can have an impact whether this Minimoog LEGO synthesizer product will find its way to a desk near you.

Cool!

Cool!

As the idea maker of this beautiful MiniMoog lego prototype tells us, “The control panels are not intended to be a one-to-one reproduction of the control panels of these instruments, which would be practically impossible at this scale.  Instead, I chose to simply suggest the knobs and switches and panel prints with simple elements.  The design of the side panels closely resembles that of the original models: metallic on the Model D and wood-grain on the Voyager Old School.  Both synths sit on simple Lego recreations of an X-style keyboard stand.”

The attention to detail on these Minimoog lego synths is incredible.
