More free goodies from Flintpope, this time the two-for-one freebie Make Noise bundle in VST and AU formats. AMP and TAPE are simple plug-ins that you can use to bring lo-fi, gritty vibes to any sound. Here's what he told us about them.
AMP
Use AMP to add some nasty hum into your track. Use TAPE to add some background tape noise. Make it loud or quiet, pan it, pitch-shift it (record changes with the pitch-bend on your midi keyboard) filter it (cut) or just kill it! Just hit any note on your keyboard to record into your DAW. It’s monophonic, single-pitch and NOT velocity sensitive to enable a good, uniform low hum that doesn’t break when it loops. You can record short bursts (it’s great at the start of a track to suggest a live stage recording) or just hold it down for the whole track. Or just draw it in…
