From the Spitfire Laboratories: Floppy Disk Drive Sample Library and Guess The Song

Spitfire Audio are well known for their high-end orchestral Kontakt libraries. They have an experimental side too. And that comes through in this creative Kontakt library, Floppy Disk Drive.  

Spitfire tells us this was "inspired by the small YouTube community which re-creates cult songs using just floppy disks. Spitfire Audio presents a library consisting of 5 floppy disk drives spinning their hearts out for you. Engineered by Lawrence Shahid, this library will give you a unique buzz, and without all the clutter!"

The donations they receive are spread between three charities. Magic Breakfast is a charity devoted to making sure children in the UK don’t go to school hungry, Safer London is a charity that helps young people in London live free from violence and crime, and Unicef is the United Nations' children charity.
