FREE Ethereal Reaktor Blocks Set & Ableton Live Simpler Pack

Flintpope's new A Memory of Light Reaktor Blocks Set is evocative and textural. It's FREE to download, and includes the Native Instruments Reaktor Blocks set plus Ableton Live 9.5 packs for Simpler.

It wasn't log ago that Flintpope released Darkscape for Reaktor Blocks / Ableton Simpler. Continuing on the theme of ambient, textural exploration using Reaktor Blocks (and for FREE!), we're now being treated to A Memory of Light. Here's what the good folk at Flintpope tell us about this new pack compatible with Reaktor 6, Reaktor Blocks / Ableton Live 9.5 and above .

A Memory of Light is a new Flintpope Reaktor Blocks set featuring 24 sounds that bypass the usual waveform synthesis. Instead it combines a wind-synth oscillator with a noise generator through a pair of reverbs and a tape delay to create a mix of ethereal, powerful and lonely textures.

A huge thanks to Blocks creators Sandy Small and Michael Hetrick for their creative work that inspired this synth.

Native Instruments say “Blocks combine the freedom and flexibility of modular patching with the trademark DSP quality of REAKTOR. Over 30 feature-rich Blocks are included, offering limitless inspiration and sonic creativity. Load as many oscillators, filters, effects, modulators, and sequencers as you need to patch your dream modular rig.”

The package requires Reaktor 6 and Reaktor Blocks to play the presets. These are of course completely TWEAKABLE.

Haven’t got Reaktor Blocks? If you have Ableton Live 9.5 Intro or higher you can load the two packs included in the zip and enjoy the same sounds in SIMPLER.
