Cubase 7.5 and Cubase Artist 7.5 Announced

What's new in the latest version of Steinberg's world-famous DAW? Improvements in Cubase 7.5 include TrackVersions, enhanced editing, Groove Agent SE 4 drum sampler, HALion Sonic SE 2 and much more.

Steinberg have announced the upcoming release of Cubase 7.5 and Cubase Artist 7.5 at the Music Production Show in London, available from December 4, 2013*, from Steinberg resellers worldwide and through the Steinberg Online Shop.

The update to version 7.5 provides TrackVersions playlists for audio, MIDI and instrument tracks as well as chord, tempo and signature tracks, letting you create and toggle between different versions of a track's events and lanes. Track visibility management helps you to keep the Project window clutter free, with additional View Agents and sync mode with the MixConsole. Enhanced editing capabilities include automatic transient detection. Other new features that emphasize the focus on workflow optimization are the new re-record mode for instant record restart, load and save of Track Quick Control assignments, MIDI editing functionality in the Score Editor plus the redesigned VST Instrument Rack with new VST Quick Controls and in perfect sync with the instruments tracks.

Version 7.5 also features the Groove Agent SE 4 drum sampler, with intricate editing functionality, pattern playback and in fresh new look. Version 2 of HALion Sonic SE now includes the new Trip virtual analog arp synthesizer plus eight new effects. The EDM Toolbox with dozens of MIDI loops, laid out in 30 construction kits provides added value to many of the powerful instruments included in 7.5.

Also highlighted in this update are three new effects: LoopMash FX with tape-stops, stutters and others, the REVelation algorithmic reverb and the Magneto 2 tape saturator.

The remote recording software, VST Connect SE 2, is exclusively available in Cubase 7.5, now with MIDI recording capability.
