Blue Cat Audio Releases Blue Cat's PatchWork 1.4

With features such as MIDI channel filtering for VST,AU plug-ins and parallel processing chain enhancements, Blue Cat Audio's PatchWork version 1.4 looks to be a great update.  

Paris, France, 2014/07/24: Blue Cat Audio ( http://www.bluecataudio.com ) have released an update for Blue Cat's PatchWork, adding new features and compatibility improvements to their "universal plug-ins patch bay" plug-in.

Blue Cat's PatchWork 1.4 now includes MIDI channel filtering for hosted VST or Audio Unit plug-ins, parallel processing chains improvements (selectable summing mode and solo buttons), and several compatibility improvements on Mac. (full list below).

The update is free for existing customers and is available for download from the same page as the initial purchase (link received by email). Demo versions can also be downloaded on www.bluecataudio.com, in VST, RTAS, AAX, Audio Unit and DirectX formats, for both Mac and PC (32 and 64-bit).

New Features:

  • Selectable parallel processing chains summing mode: sum or average.
  • Solo button for parallel chains.
  • MIDI Channel filtering for each plug-in input.

Fixes and compatibility improvements:

  • Fixed undo/redo incompatibilities with some plug-ins.
  • (Mac) Fixed crash introduced in 1.3 when trying to load missing VST plug-ins.
  • (Mac) Fixed wrong plug-in instantiated in some cases when selected from a VST shell package.
  • (Mac) Fixed crash after closing the editor of an Audio Unit plug-in loaded with SoundRadix's 32Lives.
