BBC Feature TR-808 as "The Drum Machine that Changed Music"

Hands up if you know which Drum Machine has had the biggest impact on music since its introduction... well, the Roland TR-808, undoubtedly wears that crown and BBC Radio 4 explore why.  
Today is the day that Roland's AIRA TR-8 has found its way into a music retail store near you. And coincidentally, today BBC Radio 4 have published a 5 minute programme charting the influence of the Roland TR-808 drum machine. Presenter Graham Massey (808 State) covers the special feel and personality inside the circuit board of this Roland classic.
