Audio Damage Releases Basic, a Mono Synth for the People

Sometimes multiple controls, parameters, filters, modes, envelopes, (read: tons of features) can get in the way, so Audio Damage's $40 Basic synth aims to make synthesis simple again.

If you head on over to the Audio Damage store, you'll be greeted with a new addition to our plug-in lineup. Basic was born out of a desire for a very simple three-oscillator mono synth that was low on CPU, for those times when you don't need every feature under the sun.

No pages, no menus, no diving through layers; every control is on the front panel, laid out in a logical pattern. Basic was built with an eye to educators and beginners, but it is perfectly happy and useful in a professional environment. From pants-flapping sub-bass to screaming self-resonating leads to smooth house-chord hits, Basic is a capable and usable tool for the modern electronic musician. With an ultra-low CPU load and the ability to cut through the mix, it is a perfect live performance synth, no freezing required.

Basic is DRM-free, so no "phone home" nonsense to deal with, and our licenses are site licenses, so educators can buy one copy for their whole classroom.

Introductory Price!

Until Sept. 4th, 2014 Basic is only US$39.00. Visit the Audio Damage store to hear sound samples and buy now!
