Following on promptly after releasing MPC 2.2 software and firmware update for MPC X and MPC Live, Akai Professional have issued a new update that includes mapping and adds support for more popular MIDI controllers.
Now Ableton Push 1 and 2 are fully supported as well as Arturia KeyLab Essential, MiniLab Mk II, Korg nanoKONTROL, nanoKONTROL2, nanoPAD, M-Audio Trigger Finger Pro, and Native Instruments Maschine Mikro MK2.
But that's not all that's new. There's new stability and reliability changes (read, bug fixes), specifically for Q-Link:
- Insert effect parameters can now be assigned to Q-Links via Q-Link Learn
- Q-Link Learn now displays correctly when changing Q-Link Modes
- Q-Link Project and Program assignments created in previous MPC versions now load correctly
