Ableton have just released a new video and free Live Set download from Berlin artist Keychee, on Push. A hybrid of live performance and track composition, this inspiring video demonstrates the versatility of Push, with Keychee’s personal spin on betaking and layering.
In the video you can take a closer look at some unique aspects of Keychee’s Push workflow: using loops in a Drum Rack, he’s able to sequence loop triggers, in essence turning the Push step sequencer into a “swing sequencer”. Additionally, using the Clip Stop buttons, he can turn off existing layers to focus on different parts while building a track.
