Ableton Loop 2018 Registration Now Open

Ableton announced today that registration for Loop'"the company's summit for music makers'"is now open. This year the three day event for music makers will be held in Los Angeles instead of Berlin.

Participants can register via the Loop website at loop.ableton.com/2018/register/. Those wishing to attend are encouraged to register early, as space is very limited.

Loop is three days of talks, performances, hands-on workshops and studio sessions aimed at sharing ideas on music, technology and creative practice. This fall, it’s coming to Los Angeles.

Loop 2018 will go in-depth exploring different solutions for computer-based performance, creative collaboration, and how artists tell stories with sound and music, among many others.

For 2018, Loop will set up across select venues in Hollywood from 9–11 November, including EastWest Studios and the Montalbán Theatre in Hollywood. More venues will be announced in the coming months as details are confirmed.

Check out the talks from previous Loop events on the Loop Hub.

Launched by Ableton in 2015, Loop is three days of performances, talks, and interactive workshops aimed at exchanging ideas at the cutting edge of music, technology, and creative practice. Bringing together artists, technologists, educators, and other creative thinkers, Loop is a collective exploration of what it is to make music today and what it could be tomorrow.

The full program and list of participants, presenters and performers for Loop 2018 will be announced soon. All the latest information on Loop 2018 is available on the Loop site.
