1st-Look Video: Dreadbox Erebus 3 Semi-Modular Analog Synth

The Dreadbox Erebus 3 is a three oscillator semi-modular analog synthesizer with a few tricks up its sleeve that helps it stand out from the crowd. This video from from Superbooth18 explains more.

Alongside their collaboration with Polyend on the 6-oscillator synth and controller, Medusa, Dreadbox were thrilled to show off their brand new 3-oscillator semi-modular analog synthesizer, Erebus 3.

It's based on its predeccesor and is almost the same circuitry, but now there's a patchbay and a third oscillator.

Yannis describes it as "sounding quite different, but feeling exactly the same".

Oscillator 3 has seven different waveforms including FM and it can go very low... the filter is a 2-pole filter but also includes high-pass and "everything in between" like a variable state filter would be.

The Tripple Ring is a fairly unique feature that can do a number of funky things including pulse width modulating the switch for an oscialltor.
