Sneak Peek: Watch Arrangement & Score for Lego Batman Movie. No Real Instruments Used.

Pop into the studio with grammy award-winning composer Lorne Balfe as he gives us a sneak preview of his score / piano roll arrangement for Lego Batman, the movie.

Grammy award-winning music producer and composer for films, Lorne Balfe, has released a rather cool video look at his score and arrangement in a piano roll for the up coming Lego Batman film being released on 10 February 2017.

Lorne is well known for his composition work on Assassin's Creed 3, Girl Rising, Crysis, Batman Begins, and for his work with Hans Zimmer. In this engaging video, designed for those interested in composition techniques and arrangements, Lorne gives us a preview of his score for the Lego Batman movie hitting cinemas next month.

We interviewed Lorne Balfe back in 2013. You can read the in-depth interview covering his tech setup and experiences composing and producing here.

As we'd expect from Lorne Balfe's work, the the arrangement is sublime, the mix exquisite, and there's a dark and menacing undertone that suits the Batman franchise completely.

We understand that all the parts of this score for Lego Batman are 100% sample libraries although Lorne hasn't yet revealed which libraries are being used. While you're listening and watching the piano roll score for Lego Batman you might want to guess the DAW he's using. Hint: it's not GarageBand. ;)

Oh and here's the official trailer of Lego Batman:
