Here's A New Free Editor for Korg Minilogue

The minilogueEdit is a new free standalone and VST plugin editor for the Korg Minilogue analog synthesizer. Details are still scarce, but here's what we know so far...

There's a new standalone and plugin (VST) editor for Korg minilogue on the block. This has been made by Julien Eres and is in BETA. However, you need to register to the minilogueEdit group to be able to access the beta test and get further details on setting up this debug version.

Unfortunately Mac users, myself included, will have to wait until a Mac VST version is available.

UPDATE: The Mac OS version has just been announced too (15th February 2017)! So, you should be able to edit your Minilogue from your Mac and Windows PC now.

We're waiting on approval into the BETA program. In the meantime, here's some info we've picked up:

  • The virtual layout mirrors the hardware.
  • You can use it to edit motion sequence data.
  • You can fully edit the 16 steps sequencer, including the 4 motions.
  • You can name your own presets. (Something the Korg librarian lacks)

You can support this project (and remove the annoying startup popup) by making a donation.
